The School: Dress Code & Policies

Ballet
- Black tank top or camisole strapped leotard
- Black long sleeved wrap-around for winter
- Pink tights Pink ballet shoes* with elastic
- Ribbons are attached to dance shoes at concerts and exams
- Hair off face strictly in ballet bun

* Shoes need to be purchased from a ballet shop for the correct fit, as they need to show the arch of the foot; split-sole is good. Shoes from Walmart or Payless are designed for weddings and are not suitable for ballet.

Modern,  Tap
- Leotard and tights, or bike shorts. No specified color
- Pull on jazz/dance shoes
- Tap shoes
- Hair off face

Hip Hop
Loose fitted cloths. Check with teacher for new shoes each year. Shoes are to be worn ONLY in the studio. Please do not use them as street shoes, as this tracks dirt into the studio
